A common theme that seems to pop up quite a bit among brands around the function of brand and content strategy is: where does the intersection of brand building and selling happen in marketing?
Without this being a chicken-and-egg discussion, here's the best way to simplify the confusion - Both serve different purposes, BUT they do not function independently of each other. Your brand strategy is a blueprint that defines your reason of being (who you are, why you exist, how do you talk and carry yourself), and content helps bring to life your brand so that it resonates with the right audience - through content. Ultimately, both functions serve the same goal - to strengthen and grow your brand.
With that in mind, go out there and test and optimise to produce the best results, but remember to always ask yourself, "Is it on brand?" ;)
